We are learning about space now. The kids are eating it up! They came up with this on their own after reading one of the library books. My only contribution was the idea of using paperclips to hang them from the false ceiling and using objects to trace circles. They used the individual pictures of the planets in the book to make this--the sign was all Samuel!
Mars' two moons that are smaller than our moon and are not round like ours, but rather they are lumpy and a potato-like shape.
Saturn's stripes and ring of dust. The ring was completely Samuel's idea and creation!
Philip sat this morning with me on the couch while I was doing my devotion and asked me about ten times if we could make the four largest moons of Jupiter now. Funny! Since I am learning most of this along with them, this just really seemed to make me think I might need to pinch myself to see if I am dreaming . . . Are my kids really soaking up this information that easily?
