 "You're a-okay, Aunt Cheryl!"
She looks like she is smiling at me . . . at least that is what I'm claiming!
 Isn't she beautiful?

Philip liked Aunt Kala's real stethoscope.  It's fun to have an Auntie who is a nurse!

sugar cookies :)

coconut is a fruit?

Samuel asked to buy a coconut and see how it tastes.
Sophia plugged her ears when Jess was hammering . . . but she never stopped talking, just raised her voice above it all.  Jess and I have been marveling at how she always is talking--and she's actually got something to talk about all the time!  Her mind rarely stops.  She is still going tonight while the boys are out.

We did not like the taste of the coconut "milk".

Sleepy Sophia :)

Jess found Sophia this way when he went up to turn her lights off before bed.  Usually, she does it herself after reading a super high pile of books.  This evening, her sleepiness got the best of her!

Sophia made her own sandwich . . .

Silverware Stockings

This is a craft Philip, Sophia and I made during a Pokemon movie last night.  :)  It's purpose is as a decoration to set upon our plates/bowls.  We got it from the Family Fun site--a super cute site with some little clips done by Lee Woodruff, whom I read a book about.  I think she seems like a neat person.

Cornflake Wreaths and gingerbread cookies

We made the wreaths that Jess remembers his Grandma Helen making a lot of times when he was growing up.  (We used M & M's instead of red hots because I couldn't find the red hots.)

We made a few cookies out of the leftover gingerbread house dough.
